How long have you been producing Avocados?

Our first plantation dates back to 1982. Before we only produced citrus fruits and oil and sold to wholesalers. Despite our forty years of experience, we decided to embark on the path of e-commerce only in January 2021.

Why do you grow organically?

We care deeply about sustainability and genuineness in agriculture. All our products are organically certified. We are subject to checks by an entity (CSQA) that certifies our production. We use natural fertilizers instead of synthetic ones, and herbicides are banned from our crops. To verify our conformity certificate, click here.

How many hectares of land cultivated?

Our property extends over approximately 9 hectares of which 6 are cultivated with avocados and the remaining with citrus fruits. The centuries-old olive trees share the space in harmony with the other crops.

Where is your company located?

The administrative headquarters is in Sant'Ilario dello Ionio, our land is in the municipality of Ardore. Both locations are located in Locride, on the Ionian side of Reggio Calabria.

How many workers do you employ?

Ours is a small family-run business. We are father and two sons. We are constantly supported by an agricultural laborer who takes care of the processing and care of the land and, occasionally, other laborers for the fruit harvest. The management of the site is entrusted to the head of the family, while the social accounts and public relations are entrusted to Elena, one of our young, valid and enterprising collaborators.

How can i pay on the site?

You can pay for your purchases by credit card (the main circuits are accepted), PayPal and advance bank transfer. In case of advance bank transfer, the Company will first wait for the sum to be credited and then will send the goods on the first available day.

Is it safe to pay on your site?

Our site has the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption protocol which allows secure transactions on the internet. Payments by credit card and PayPal take place on the PayPal site, which is also protected.

Do you protect my privacy?

Do you sell to traders?

Are you interested in selling to a GAS?

The acronym GAS stands for Solidarity Purchasing Group and identifies a group of people who decide to come together to purchase food products starting from an approach of solidarity economy, nature protection, fight against waste and energy saving: we totally share these ideas and we are interested in establishing new economic relationships with these groups.

How long does it take between collection and shipping?

We do not own cold rooms. Therefore our products are only collected a few hours before sending. The freshness of the product is something that we can certainly certify for you.

When do you ship?

For logistical and organizational reasons, all purchases made from Monday to Sunday depart on Monday and Tuesday of the following week: this is to ensure the freshness of the product and be sure of delivery in the same week (couriers do not deliver on Saturday, Sunday and holidays).

Why do my avocados arrive unripe?

Avocado is a climacteric fruit and for this reason it ripens only once it is harvested. Since the fruit is shipped a few hours after harvest, it needs at least 10-12 days (depending on the variety) before it can be consumed.

How long does it take for the package to arrive?

Our couriers are SDA and BRT. Normally the package takes from 48 to 72 hours to reach the home. For some disadvantaged areas and the Islands, even 4 days. Shipments abroad take 3 - 4 days to arrive at their destination. During the Christmas and Easter holidays the estimated times may be longer. As soon as the package has departed, you will receive an email with the shipping code indicated.

How are the transport packages packaged?

The avocados are packaged in double-wave cardboard boxes with bayonet closure and natural wooden raffia packaging. Citrus fruits are shipped in double-wave cardboard boxes with kraft paper packaging, The oil provides for the packaging of the can in single or double packs with cardboard box, protective cardboard insert and corner protection.

How much are the shipping costs?

For all shipments to Italy and San Marino, shipping costs are free. Some locations require a surcharge as they are considered peripheral or disadvantaged by carriers. Orders received on the Site from foreign countries cannot exceed 16 kg, can only be issued from the countries indicated, will be shipped in a single package and include a surcharge that varies depending on the country.

What should I do if the package is open or the product is not compliant?

If the package is broken or shows obvious signs of tampering, refuse it or accept it by placing the words "accepted with reserve" on the courier's note. Take a photo and contact us as soon as possible.

In the event that the product does not conform to what was declared, you have the right to a replacement or refund as specified in "Terms and conditions". For citrus fruits and avocados there is no right of withdrawal as they are perishable goods.

Is it possible to receive the invoice?

For tax purposes, for sales on the site, the email received after the purchase is valid. If you enter your VAT number during the order process, a regular electronic invoice will be issued and a copy will be sent via email. Merchants will always receive an electronic invoice.
