Our Tardivi Mandarins are appreciated for their sweet and delicate flavor, but above all for the scent of their peel, which contains an excellent alcohol percentage. With a little patience you can use them to obtain excellent candied fruit or to prepare fragrant liqueurs.

IIt is a fruit that has made the ripening period its strength. It is in fact late compared to the other mandarins; it owes its name to the Palermo district of Ciaculli, once included in the so-called Conca d’oro, the plain that surrounded the city.
The ripening period runs from February to April.
It has a fine, very fragrant skin, strongly attached to the pulp, some seeds and a sweet taste.
In addition to food consumption, the essence is extracted from green fruits, it is candied to take advantage of its intense aroma and is used for the production of excellent jams.
Contains large amounts of vitamin C, B1, B2, but also selenium and nobletin, a flavonoid, able to contribute to the protection of small vessels, reduce cholesterol in a natural way and mitigate insulin fluctuations.
